Four Crane Services You Didn't Imagine Before Now
Crane services can mean just about anything having to do with cranes. There are a wide variety of services for and with cranes. The following sample reveals four of the most common crane services that you should be able to access, no matter where you live and work.
Crane Rentals
Need a crane, but do not want to buy one? Rent it. This is a very popular option for smaller construction companies on tight budges who do not have that kind of buying power yet. They also do not have that kind of leasing power or a big enough budget. Hence, renting a crane, or any other special large equipment, is ideal.
Crane Hauling
Most construction cranes are crawlers. They move incredibly slowly. If you ordered a rental crane and had it driven to your job site, it would take all day, maybe more, to arrive. Crane hauling takes care of the wait by loading the crane onto a large flatbed truck and delivering it to you much faster.
Crane Repair On-Site
You had to wait for the crane, and now the crane has to be repaired. Ugh. That ordinarily would mean waiting for a large flatbed to arrive, load the crane, take the crane away to the repair shop, and then haul it back to the job site again. Skip that, and order the on-site crane repair service. Some heavy duty equipment repair companies send technicians out to job sites to repair the cranes right there. That equals less waiting, less transport, and a faster way to get the crane back on the job.
Crane Rescue
Somebody (who shall remain nameless, but you know who he/she is!) on your crew drove the crane off the edge of a bridge under construction. Now the crane is taking on water and nothing short of another crane can rescue it. Fortunately, there are crane rescue services that can help in this situation. The rental company will send a rescue crew and rescue cranes, barges, and/or helicopters out to rescue the drowning crane. Hopefully, you took the rental insurance on the crane so you do not have to pay a ton to repair and restore property that is not yours!
It Is So Easy, but Only if You Are Careful
Renting a crane is so easy, but things can go wrong. Be prepared in advance. Know contact information for each of these services above.
